and do not expect great results with a crappy cheap acer laptop !

my laptop got nothing to do with this i got a gaming pc...and i'm not looking for a fix cause there isn't one...dunia engine is crap. end of story.
Instead of bashing the games engine performance ( which runs like a dream on my rig ), spend some time learning how to properly streamline and optimize your PC for optimum performance ~ regardless of whether it's a laptop or commercial " gaming PC ", the steps are the same.
this game is notoriously unoptimized don't talk to me about optimizing my pc because you sound like an idiot.
I5 3570k, 8gb ram, r9 290x.
Dunia is great.
Gaming on laptop is folly.
30 fps.... lol ok
it's this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ engine ....ubisoft needs to dump this piece of ♥♥♥♥ and get the unreal engine which looks and runs flawlessly on any machine
i'm not gonna buy another far cry game as long as it has this dunia crap
if far cry 4 was using unreal engine no one would complain about bad performance you better believe it...the game would run flawlessly on any machine
this dunia engine is a major ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you gotta throw gtx titans at this crap to have it run smoothly and even then i heard people having issues...dunia needs to go it's too much of a pain in the ass
even with my old system i was pulling over 90 FPS
here are the specs on that system
Intel core 2 quad Q 9650 @ 3.0 ghz
8 gig of Kingston DDR 2 800 ram ..matched set of 4 \ 2 gig dimms
ASUS P5 B motherboard
ASUS Strix GTX 960 2 gig GPU
SB live 24 bit sound card i scapped out of an old Dell
500 watt PSU
Win 10 Pro 64 Bit

game looks fine to me and plays stutter free on my system with zero crashes

also make sure you update your bios for both your mainboard as well as chipset drivers and vid card bios
do not trust Win 10 with drivers .. at all ....install the right driver for your hardware and ALWAYS use DDU (in safe mode ) before you install your Nvidia or any vid drivers
if you recently installed the win 10 fall update yea that'll screw ya a bit with bad drivers that may perform slower
and NO do not use any Nvidia game works settings ...Nvidia screwed the pooch on those yrs ago at the dtriver level
but really the truth .. save up ... get a better GPU . a GTX 1060 is about as a fast as a GTX 980 ..a GTX 980 is twice as fast as what ya got
more pixel shaders + better memory bandwitch
a 1060 may not bottlneck your current CPU unless your ram really SUCKS
belive me i was shocked when i saw how well my old system ran with my GTX 1060 in it .. with my new system the game looks amazing and runs great at well over 200 FPS most of the time .. i have even seen it hit 300 at times
so its not the engine .. its your PC ..sorry man
no amount of settings and programs is gonna make this ♥♥♥♥ run smoothly
does ubi make games to run on low end rigs .. no ..most of the far cry games including the first one took a decent amount of PC horsepower to run in the ULTRA PRESET BACK THEN
SURE ON MODERN PC'S YOU CAN GET IT TO RUN WAYY FASTER
i remember when that game shipped i only had i think an AMD 9500 Pro or my old geforce 256 card ..and yep they were both 300 dollar vid cards at that time ..never cheap out on a GPU if ya spent the cash for a good intel CPU
