FAR CRY 4 ONLY has 2 Player co op .. google it or call ubi Support
http://www.ign.com/wikis/far-cry-4/Co-op_/_Multiplayer
In Far Cry 4 you can play co-op with one other friend. <------
The main mission is not available while playing co-op. However, all side quests are accessible and you are free to play in the open world like you always can. One thing to note is that only the host player will progress in the world mapwise. Still both players' items, money, and inventory will all be saved in co-op, but only if the non-hosting player agrees to have his inventory saved. One might argue that the game is much easier in co-op, unless your partner decides to target you with his explosives that is.

Ok, so now we're getting somewhere. How precisely did you "[start] a co-op game"? Did you choose "Continue Campaign (Online)" from the main menu, press "V" and then choose "Invite Friends" from the wheel that came up? How precisely did you then invite more than one friend from that list?
