Any way to speed through Arena ranks?

I just spent the last two hours in Endless mode only to rack up 4,000ish points which moved me to Rank 8, but then I find out I need 10,000 points to reach Rank 9. I can only assume Rank 10 will be 15,000 or more and I just can't see devoting that much time to this much repetition.

So, is there something I'm missing here? Some way to get points faster? I pretty much use Takedowns on everyone and headshots on anyone I'm shooting at, but it seems I'm missing something that adds up points quicker. As it stands, it's about 1,500 points per ten rounds and that's just ridiculously slow.

As a consolation though when you max it out at 15 you never have to rank up again, since it saves up your arena rank.

Even if you start a new game it stays at rank 15.

If you've got a smart phone try the 'Far Cry 4 Arena Master' app. You collect some animals/enemies and send them in against NPCs of different difficulties. The first enemy is pretty easy, repeatable, and nets 800 xp. After unlocking some stronger units it was taking around 5 seconds per round.

I reached Rank 8 before giving it up. Like I said, they had a golden opportunity to make something great with the arena, but they just copy/pasted everything. Even in Endless you end up with the best weapons in about ten rounds and then it's the same pointless fights over and over again.

Thanks for this tip, but I already beat and uninstalled the game. I wish I knew about this prior to starting the game, but it looks like I'll never use that Signature gun.

I dont know if anyone still cares, but i recently started playing Far Cry 4 again. On highest difficulty. After completing the first reggie and yogi mission, wherer you have to fight in the arena for the first time and unlock it, i jumped into the endless wave mode in order to get the Bushman.

So, remember to set highest difficulty, focus on headshots and especially takedowns. just hide in some corner at the start of the round, do some takedowns and headshots, then defeat leftover enemys or the armored ones with explosive barrels.
I spent less than 20 minutes got to level 15 and leveled up 11 levels. therefore unlocked the bushman real fast.
