All of the game's major mods (Escalation, Zero, etc) come with competent (if cheating) AIs, and AIs for the stock game can be obtained from Quitch's AI Central.

Players 1&2 start bottom on "Position: Fixed", 3-10 start top. Made to be played without Dragon Teeth or Nukes or mass Hawks. Feel free to edit. 3.9 includes McNTerra-NS.ufo, 3.1 needs it for the AI to be effective. The AI does not build radars, so it will not "snipe", but has to come close to get LOS. This makes it fun to play.
That is a good point. A problem too was that there for some reason only were 4 total slots in the AI skirmish, and 1v3 wasn't enough of a challenge. After upgrading to 3.9.02 atleast I can play against more at once and fixes a few things. 1v9 is impossible to win, haha.
