Help with the escalation mod.

So I get a Error: enviroment initialization failure when I try to launch the game. I am pretty sure I installed the mod correctly yet I cannot play it.
Also after installing, SMACKW32.DLL was missing and I hand to manually download it.

Any help would be apreciated

try hotfix, or DXWind, ask from people from GameRanger, check TAU forum, have latest GPU driver, (or just save trouble and buy win7 ;)

No. I refuse To downgrade back to win 7. I'll give your other suggestions a try though. Thanks for the reply.

Exact same problem, could be a bug in the latest version maybe. I couldn't seem to find this very easily on the forums. Also using Windows 10, also refuse to downgrade.
