Linux version on steam?

I know there's a Linux version out there but I was curious if the developers had planned on releasing it on Steam?

I was just about to create a topic for this, but i would like to see the Linux version on steam as well, since i know it exists ;)

Having the Linux version on Steam would be very handy. Patching by installing the demo isn't a very intuitive way of updating.

I really hope the Steam box will at least be announced soon...

However, Valve is probable holding back while there are not that much games available for Linux, so chicken and egg problem...

SDL2 port would be great, btw.

Looking forward to trying this one finally. I picked it up hoping to see the Linux version make it up here at some point, mildly disappointing having to wait for it though. Please consider getting it up before the Steam box if at all possible! Thanks for at least letting us know it was on the radar though.

this was one of the first games I ever purchased for linux. Right after the first humble bundle (which I missed out on) and I had a really great time with it. Especially once you level up. Please reconsider waiting for SteamOS, there are many of us that wish to use steam to manage our games. Also I havent been keeping myself updated on the latest status of this game but multiplayer deathmatch seems like it would be really fun in this game, its what I always think about when Im playing it.
