off the top of my head; macros, keyboard emulation, customize light, ability to use mousepad and six axis, quickly switch profiles

i sorta works if you restart the game and bind the controller inputs in the inputs tab of the game but yeah after that works only in game not on menus and its still kinda mid

me personally I prefer to handle through DS4windows because of non-Steam games or the need for special macros or bindings through the keymapping. An all-in-one solution for the whole PC

Steam input works on non-steam games though. But I guess the new needs steam open, which isn't an issue for me because I set up my PC to boot directly into Steam to give it the ultimate console experience. Do those special bindings with DS4 windows, work with something like the extreme rate back button kits? So that I can set up per game profiles for those buttons?
