Any way to unlock to 60fps?

Ive installed split/second fps unlocker already, but it doesnt want to start for some reason.
are there any more programs or mods that could help me?
i dont enjoy playing 30fps it really isnt fun anymore.

Theres a program called Splitsecond velocity which permanently patches the game to 60fps but i dont know where you would download it beyond searching google and hoping for the best.

You basically launch the app, select the game, then select the patch file and thats it. It creates a new patched .exe and a backup or your old exe

Did you happen to find and try it and if so does it work on the steam version? I have it on disc but I've lost it so I'll buy it on steam if the patch works

N.B. PCGW says that you need a DRM free EXE for the patch to work. Find a cracked EXE online.

the 60fps patch will break some of the power plays, there timings are really off and cause the other racers to get stuck and keep dying in same spots

As the guy above said, don't do it. I will break the physics engine of the game and some of the power plays.. I wanted 60 FPS too but we can't have everything.

the patcher on pcgamingwiki also changes the physics update rate so it works fine, the one made by keith

ahhhhh ok

turning vsync off in the games options fixes the animations and you still get 60fps

What's wrong with GSync? I am on Guru3d.com and have not seen anything about GSync.

Nvidia Forceware 512.77 now suports also Forceware Settings "Vsync: Fast" which redners the maximum FPS your system can handle but runs without the Tearing effects. i did that since i saw it on the driver...man that is the best thing ever..if yu dont care about energy usage :P

i will refund this, hope the dev got bankrupt for games as this. shame on them. really.
