Maybe time for me to check it out. TY
Here's a hint though, it wasn't meant to be a stand-alone game...
That fact was already pointed out to him but he clearly does not want to accept it or is just not bothered to research the true genesis of Landmark.
Love these Steam forums because they are like a microcosm reflecting the highs and the lows of current US politics. With some of the irrational arguments and 'alternative facts' here, I think we have some budding future congress senators.
I think 99% of people know that.
But without EQN, according to SoE (The owner of both IPs) it is doubtful that we would have seen Landmark.
SoE's own words: 'Landmark began as a collection of voxel building tools'
'Everquest Next might actually be relevant to the wider gaming community, its world-building utility Landmark was yet another pleasant surprise.'

'It’s also the entire toolset used to build worlds and assets for Everquest Next.'
'Because these tools will be available before Next, SOE want to encourage players to experiment with the different landscapes and materials that will be in the game at release. The best creations could be picked for inclusion in the game at launch.'

'Today’s Landmark column delves primarily into two big things related to future development for Landmark that should also have repercussions for Everquest Next

And so on.
Over time and with EQN on the rocks, SoE decided to separate the failed EQN and Landmark into two different products.
I wanted to support this project because the idea was really nice and to help the everquest development and stuff.
The game was aborted and landmark too.
They just robbed us, nothing more.
Devs Sutio and Sony has to assume and refund us.
( BTW Sorry for my english )
HOWEVER if you can track down the files on your pc and delete them chances are they will work on redl or you can put in a support ticket and ask for help
also just to be safe have u tride verifing them?
This "game" is a bigger rip-off than No Man's Sky.
