Is there anything consistent about what you're doing or what units you're using when the error occurs. Does it happen regardless of whether you're playing a single battle, operation, or campaign? Does it matter which scenario you're playing.
Thanks,
Steve
It looks like it's a problem with a campaign. I've played a few single missions and they seem to work ok. I'm playing the British Good Hunting campaign at the moment. The first few battles were ok, but now the game crashes either when I defeat the enenmy or accept a truce. I thought at first it might be a corrupt save game file, which is why I deleted the save and started the campaign again. But the same thing happened.
On the British campaign I'm stuck on one battle that I can play which then crashes when I complete the battle. On the German campaign I'm stuck on the strategic map and the game crashes as soon as I try to start the next battle.
Should I try reinstalling the game? Would that make a difference?
Steve
Documents\Close Combat Gateway to Caen\Saved Games
Since the problem was in code new to Gateway to Caen, it can't be related to any problem in Close Combat 4. The original CC4 is also a game owned by SSI (I believe) so they would be the ones to contact for support on it. If you mean Close Combat Wacht am Rhein then please try the Matrix Games website for support.
Thanks,
Steve
