Close Combat for Mac?

Hey, I'm a huge strategy gamer, and a close combat fan since the first one came out. However I only own a Mac. Is there any plans for you to port this over to OSX?

There is no easy way to port the current games to OSX, however, the next generation Close Combat Games are being developed with portability in mind

The current plan is to release the cross-platform version this year.

Development is taking longer that we planned, so no real updates at this time, sorry!

Just so you know the game works perfectly in Bootcamp and Parallels Desktop ( Virtual Windows emulation)

Hey thanks :) That's a good point and I assumed that it would run without problems in ie. Bootcamp or parallels. But I would rather wait for a port than buying windows+parallels+Close Combat.

It would be awesome if the first game was open sourced so it could be ported to all platforms, while we wait for the new versions :) But I don't think any developer would do that. Hopefully there is a market for an upcoming release on mac for the new games <3

If you have a mac with an Intel processor you can buy a copy of Windows 7 on eBay for only like $30 and then be able to play all the WW2 Close Combats in Bootcamp. They run very well on my 2012 MacBook Pro.
