Just got the first 4 games on GOG and having a blast with them. Why the mixed reviews on steam for these two CCs though?

Mostly because of the price and some ppl just dont understand that the quality in a game is not all about the graphics.

When ya 2 man Piat team kills a Panther.
when that 1 guy goes Heroic and kills a whole squad in hand to hand.
when that 1 HMG has 36 killz and 2 iron crosses after several battles.
Laying down smoke to save those troops that got cut off.
Blowing up a tank with a pioneer team with TNT.
using a Grille to........ Well make massive explosions.
Running out of ammo and getting your men to scavenge from dead troops.
Digging fox holes. and gun pits if your defending.
Suppressing fire.
that sniper in the level 4 chuch tower holding up several squads.
That last second Airstike that turned the mission around.
Taking a transport unit to make sure that AT gun get to a good spot fast.
Every one has there own name and stats.

so many great moments. people just cant get past the look.

yah man! great game
