Solasta II

Solasta II

Unplayable
I was very much looking forward to this, as I loved the original Solasta, but it won't even run on my system. I have a gaming laptop that is not very old, but it says it's out of video memory and crashes immediately. I know you guys want to make a quality product, but please make it compatible for machines that aren't right off the assembly line. Not everyone has a state of the art graphics card or computer.

I have a state-of-the-art computer and its telling me the same thing. Think it might just not be playable in some cases.

Runs on my AMD system no issues. Do not assume things with bias.

Why so touchy?
I have the same problem on my Asus gaming PC with a Nvidia card, I guess I'll have to try to lower the graphic quality again to make it run stable...

Yep, that's what I'm using. How do you lower the graphic quality if it won't even start?

5800X3D, 6700XT.....runs just fine

gaming laptop OP? What are your specs? I cant tell you how many times i have seen a laptop advertised as being a gaming laptop, and yeah..it'll run solitaire which is a game so I guess *technically*...

cant say for sure but...are you running with onboard graphics chips? 1st thought is...there's the issue but I cant say for certain. 10400F is good for 1080p but if you're pushing for 1440 you;ll need to pair it with a GOOD graphics card.

Grumpy Old Dude thx very much -- will look into this. I guess I could upgrade the Graphics card. I am hoping that we will get some feed back on hardware required, recommended settings ect. Love Solasta 1 -- thought it was the BEST because of the dungeon creator. Still playing user created adventures with Solasta 1. I think they are headed in a GREAT direction with Solasta 2. Could not asked for more but this games needs work.

TACTICAL SYSTEMS PLEASE GIVE US SOME FEED BACK (Solasta 1 HOF patron).
Game runs like I am copying a 50 gig file on a separate thread(not watchable). I ran the entire BG3 with this machine and not even a hiccup.

I fixed my problem. I set my screen to 1600 x 900 fullscreen render 100% and it works fine. Now that I can finally play this - first impression - Love the Game !

I am not a very technical person- please walk me through step by step what you did to fix the issue, if you don't mind please.
