error code 011 Help please..

heres my issue: creating my NEW account i enter my CD key and that i wanna play in the america/other region cuz thats where i am and i give it my physical address (WTF????) and then i give it my email address and retype that.. and then enter a password and retype that.. but then it gives me the error code..

HOW IS MY PASSWORD NOT CORRECT.. IM CREATING THE ACCOUNT FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!! =(

I had this problem too. I used a different email address to register and it worked. Try this and let me know if it helped you.

same here...resetted my password like 4 times already..still can't logg in...I even linked it to my guildwars 2 account

Same here. Tryed to create a new account and was informed that my choosen password is not correct. Errorcode 011. I'm not allowed to create an account. That is so funny...

Edit: Just recognized how old this thread is. Didn't they find a solution?!

nope... i think they quit GW1 support 100% and went to GW2 fully...

If you use GW2 account, you need to use same password ;)

I also just bought GW1 and had the same problem. What you need to do is use a different email than your GW2 account to register. After you link your accounts then it will make you use your GW2 login again.

Let me know if you guys get the game working. I want to log into my old account too but I'm getting the same error even though I'm pretty sure my account a passwords are correct.

this issue still persist. I can't make an account for GW1. A friend bought me a copy on steam today. I tried creating an account and it's claims the password is wrong. As the OP said, how can a password be wrong if the account doesn't exist yet?!

I have the same problem I reinstalled the game on my new PC but I get the exact same error code 0011 or code allready used so you can't reinstall the game I contacted Arenanet but they can't fix this really sucks so you need to rebuy it from there website maybe will it work i dont know i tryed everything so i give up on steam with GW

just ran into this issue today.
if the email you use is associated with a gw2 account, you MUST use the same password. that's how I got it working.

I am using the password associated with my GW2 account, still not working.
This is making me absolutely irate, how the hell could they not fix such a blatant annoyance?
