Seems pretty ideal to go Dervish/Warrior Build
hard to go with another 2nd profession for the beginning of nightfall. wiki guide highly recommend warrior. Hard to see derv making use of the other profs

Yeah, unless you want to go support you really should stick with Warrior.

So, the standard set up for dervish. Dervish Warrior is the most basic option you can go with. I prefer Dervish Monk for extra physical damage that I convert into holy, and some solo farming. Ranger for the poison Reap Impurities and Elementalist for fire version.
But warrior works. Its a basic DPS and great buff Support.

Dervish already have a spell granting holy damage, don't think monk is worth it. Assassin warrior or paragon work the best

Not on all physical with 25% armor ignore. Also, bonus physical damage. From Dwayna and Balty you get it only on basic attacks, and from heart of flame no 25% armor ignore bonus. Also, heart of flame is to sacrificed.

To me you're still the newbie that doesn't understand anything. Also, build for adrenaline because you will be spamming Whirlwind Attack or/and " Save Yourselves".

Yeah, skills like Strength of Honor and Judge's Insight are best put on a hero than spreading your own attributes thinner to accommodate it. Ebon Battle Standard of Honor is a better option for your own bar since it costs no attribute points and buffs allies within the ward too.

Entirely agree

Oh, not the GWEN please carry me heroes builds. Also, team comps , Ever heard of them? Of course with a team comp it does more damage. I am talking soling. I don't need 4 Mesmers to carry me. But I get it. Your playing the heroes' pet build where your carried. Because Ebon Battle Standard of Honor is great when you have 4 Mesmers that sitting in one place and doing all the DPS, but melee is running around killing things. Not being the pet so that the Mesmer national front can carry you. Lul
Also, that ward is so small I always get out of it and take so long to get it back that the 15+ damage is unnecessary at the end. I kill faster without it , because I don't have to wait 2 years and a half. I kill them in less than 20 second and then I sit around wandering why I put that skill in the first place. Lul

While I can get a smith support monk, I can get a aoe Elementalist and double the damage of the comp by 10 times making that useless ward that only gives a mizzle 15+ damage with no armor ignore , small area, and a big cool down. While Strength of Honor and Judge's Insight gives me complete armor ignore, +25% bonus damage, small cool downs, and freedom of movement. Also, assassin requires a lot of work to work, paragon doesn't work at all, and warrior while a good choice it ain't the best. But you wouldn't know that because you're doing it to be a contrarerian. I ain't sorry for killing Garbage Waste 2, and trying to checkmate me because of that won't work because you can't even beat the most basic stuff in ESO, while I run solo cycles around hardcore missions in this game. Also, thanks for watching my videos by stacking me.

Let me be clear that 4 Mesmers comp needs to go. I will admit it ain't the best, but that shorter cool downs buff Mesmers got made you lazy and incompetent.

It's been five or more years and demonstrably pointless engaging with this troll but at the very least, it needs to be said: the one that apparently doesn't know how to use wards properly and somehow thinks all holy damage is armour-ignoring probably shouldn't be calling anyone "newbie"

Also building off of my last post, you probably should go Warrior but in truth you don't really NEED to use your Secondary at all. I'm a D/W main and I use an Avatar of Balthazar build that doesn't even have a secondary attached to it let alone attributes or skills.

In short, use the sec but don't feel like you HAVE to utilize it.
