Explain to the support, that you have just bought the account.

Same, and I just bought the game yesterday. I put in a refund request.

Telarion here, support unlock my account, it was for security reasons locked. My Free2Play GW2 account was attacked from chinese logins, so then my newly activated account in GW1 was locked also.

Simply write to support.

yea this seems to happen when you login newly create game account on pre existing ArenaNet account, they detect new activity. VPN users also beware it can trigger account lock randomly

Really? I'm having issues getting it unlocked. I'm close to just leaving a negative review and refunded.

They just unlocked my account. Seem to refuse to admit their system auto locked my account upon creation and told me I should've put 2FA on, when I couldn't. Also they tell you to login through steam to get some sort of AreaNet steam ID account identifier to unlock your account but you can't login through Steam if you don't play GW2, which I don't.

Their areanet account system says you need to use GW2 on steam to access it.

Yea got the same but how I send a ticket when It says you need to log in do send it and I clearny cant.....

Same issue 3023:1012 and cant login into steam or their website i send e-mail for the [e-mail] still waiting.
