I sometimes enjoy spirit spammer ritualist too, but overall it feels a bit too passive.
I play all of them really though and you should try them all to find the one you like most. Because of secondary profession attributes the limits of what they can each do isn't always clear making the scope for roles somewhat ambiguous.
Necro is fun to debuff and summon minions :D
Ele is great to make stuff go boom
Warrior is good to go stab stab
Monk is good for healing teammates
Mesmer is fun to control the entire battlefield
Ranger is fun to have a friend with you at all times
I think this is a bit simplified lol but i dig it honestly though you forgot paragon dervish Ritulist and Assassin :p Paragon and Rt being some of the most OP when it comes to what they offer IMBA para still pretty silly, i wish they would just let us add PvE skills to heros that would set this game up!
Monk is by no means just for healing i got some got some great smite builds and honestly Necro henchmen pull off the heals way better then any other class cuz the massive energy they can pull.
Ranger is one of the most versatile character to play and that's i like it so much.
