Any possible way to get a new CD key?
Answer is probably going to be "create a new account, buy the game again,"but figured I'd try anyway.

So, long story short: account blocked and got recovered for GW2 thanks to support. After a lot of back-and-forth, my GW1 is apparently bricked (account both exists and does not exist) and decided it wasn't worth troubling support anymore.

Since I have too many hours to refund, is it possible to just get a new key? I didn't have that much progress, I had like a level 10 Wizard / Mesmer hybrid and got stuck shortly after the Cauldron. (couldn't kill a bunch of Charr baddies for whatever reason).

I think it was around Flame Temple corridor, so again not far. Don't have anything valuable, really, did not invest any RWT.

GW is the kind of game where 1 key = 1 account, so if you can't retrieve your existing account by any means, there isn't much else that can be done about it but to purchase another key.

At least the keys aren't that expensive (~$10 per campaign), you can purchase them individually and play each campaign at a time so that if you find you don't enjoy the game you're only out maybe $10 instead of the full $30. Best of luck to you

Unfortunately I don't know of any way to get a key besides buying a new one just like you say. How you managed to lock your account to an extent you have I dont think I could ever understand, but best of luck to you.

My kind of luck, unfortunately. It says my email doesn't exist despite saying it does.

Sounds like the email used to make the account got changed to a different email address. If you didnt do that I would assume the Guild Wars 2 support site could get it back. You would need a bunch of info for them to verify though. The original email address used to make the account, access to that email address, game key used to make the account, character names, etc... Also if it was changed I think you should get an email about the change to the original address so you could confirm that was the case.

However Im just speculating based on what you said. I dont know what the actual case may be.

It may have, but they changed it to another email I have and told me to request a change which never appeared. No matter how many requests, it never showed up in my inbox, spam, or deleted.

Tell this to support I guess? If you get copypaste answers, ask to escalate the ticket. (Low level support is basically human chatbots.)

I spent 9 days recovering my account a few weeks ago. They sent the recovery email to the wrong email address 4 times... Harp on them again. I ended up having 8 different support staff emailing me and it seemed like not a damn one of them read the messages prior to their own reply.
