says my password is wrong

im having the same problem. i just installed it and there was a box to link gw1 account with steam account. I skipped it presuming i had already done it in the past.

ok, I have the same pwd for GW1 and 2 as they are the same account. I just logged into GW2 to check the pwd i was entering was correct which it was as i logged in fine, i then went back to GW1 and logged in with the same pwd and it let me straight in after many previous failed attempts, so try logging into GW2 first.

the problem is that you're trying to create an account with an email used by a gw2 account, just use the same password from your gw2 account. The same thing happened to me

All you have to do is enter the password you used when you created your account silly

If you still have this issue it might be because your password is too long. I remember back in the day that this was an issue. If I remember right the password can only be 16 characters long for Guild Wars 1.

Yea same thing here. logged in once for a few minutes after purchase just fine. Then tried to relog later and password wrong.
