Bought Eye of the North but can't start it?

I bought the EotN DLC through Steam but when I launch it I only get the base game Guild Wars. I tried going to the account page and adding key (by copying it from steam) but it says the key is invalid.

Am I missing something or is it impossible to get EotN only from Steam?

You can't start Eye of the North straight away, only by taking a quest on an existing level 10 character when you reach a specific town (which town depends on what campaign you're starting in).

To determine if Eye of the North is activated on your account go - from the character select menu - to Edit Account -> Manage Access Keys. It should be listed if it is activated. If it isn't, click Add Key then add the key you got on Steam (unless that's what you did and it's not accepting it?)

When I click that there's a box that becomes checkmarked but nothing shows up or changes otherwise.

Yeah, you then need to click "next" in the bottom right corner.

I feel silly for missing that. I had to add the key on the next page and now it's working! Thank you very much for your help.
