I don't remember beating this game, but the steam achievements say I did, so I guess I must have.
I tell you what. this game is beyond tilting. I've played and finished my fair share of games that are commonly considered to be 'hard', but this one takes the cake in just how aggravating it is. It's pretty and well made, but I needed weeks if not months of breaks inbetween sessions of this game to get through it.

Made me very angry, and some of the bosses seemed impossible, but that made the feeling of beating them that much better, ive always loved boss scrollers and this is going on my list as one of the best. even if some of the bosses were really annoying (im looking at you "the soul" elahanan was 4x better than you).

Its a masterpiece.

Soundtrack is great, graphics are great with beautiful 2d backgrounds, and 3d bosses. Art style is really unique and doesn't get boring.

All bosses are creative, there's 2 layers to them, first is the puzzle: what is the weak spot, and how do i hit it. Second part is getting the mechanics down, figuring out the boss' patterns to execute it. All bosses except for the mushroom one were really well made.

The run to the boss when you die is not too long, 5-15 seconds depending on the boss. That's when you think about what to try next time or relax.

Also try their new game Death's Door.

1hp, 1 bow, 1 arrow. Cute concept. The goal is to kill titans who have more or less 1hp.
I really like the puzzle part on how and where to shoot my arrow BUT some timings are really annoying which create a very frustrating moment where you know what, how and when to do it but you die because of a really small mechanical misplay.
3h, good experience for <2euros on sale, I recommend :)

for $1.50 its definitely worth it but it's very hit or miss. It's really short (3-4 hours) but it doesn't overstay its welcome. If it's on sale which it is as of this review pick it up, if not you can skip it.
