The Soul - Local multiplayer possibility?

The fight with the Soul got me thinking about the possibility of a local free-for-all fighting mode. I feel like it could be a lot of fun with four people, one hit kills, and just the chaos that ensues.

Kinda like a version of Towerfall, but flat, rather than vertical.

Not likely to happen, but a fun thought, right? :P
