Other purely boss rush games

I can't think of any games with JUST bosses but if I may be so bold to make a game reccomendation anyway;

Risk of Rain, another little highly difficult indie gem. Check out it's page and reveiws at the very least. =)

A lot of older games have boss rush modes included as a sort of minigame. You usually have to beat the game or up to the final boss to access it though.

Off that top of my head, the Monster Hunter series (AFAIK the only PC game in that series is a China only MMO) and Shadow of The Colossus. I haven't played either before though, I'm not a big fan of boss games personally. You could also check out the Tv Tropes article [tvtropes.org] for more examples.

Monster Hunter would indeed be a sort of "Boss-Only"-game, albeit not completely: you need to go get materials from gathering from time to time

i highly recommend it though, if you have access to a 3DS get 4U

I woulnd't say Shadow of the Colossus is a "boss-rush" game - you actually have to look around / fidn the area these bosses are in whereas a "boss-rush" game like this one... they are all right there in a room close to eachother but hey. whatever :p

I got "Jotun" a few months ago, search it on steam store. Pretty similar to Titan Souls in concept but not quite as well done imo. I thought it was worth the money anyway.

Cup head is gonna be a Boss rush game, also there were arcade games with the boss rush concept, with the gameplay of a fighting game, but still pretty damn cool: fighting fantasy/hippodrome, Mutant fighters/Death Brade, red earth/warzard and megaman the power batlle come to my mind. try them, you'll have much fun, other games such as metroidvanias and megamans have boss rush levels.
Hopefully cuphead will bring back this trend and other developers will try and make some games with this mechanic.

Latest boss rush game released on steam is Furi, and it's worth every penny, it's going to be one of those games where when another boss rush game comes out everyone will be comparing.

Super House of Dead Ninjas has a boss rush mode on it, though like others have said you have to beat the game to unlock it, very difficult though.. the boss rush I mean..
