Also to set up the fists on the pads, stand 6 feet from the pad, let it smahs down, stand on the pad and then start moving to the other side when it begins smashing again. It's easy to get him into chest laser mode once you get used it it.
Here's how I do it:
1) Approach the left fist from below and roll upwards beneath its attack, slightly left of the laser eyes shooting straight at you.
2) Then stand on the left switch and wait for the fist to come before rolling and sprinting right. The thing to understand here is that the fist attacks' rhythm is determined by the laser that happens between them, so you have more time to cross the room when the eye lasers do a wide, sideways arc than a quick, direct attack, which only happens when you're in the middle of the room. Since your last position was the left switch, at the edge of the room, the laser will be a wide arc.
3) Stand on the right switch and wait for the right fist to come for you. Roll downwards to avoid it as it lands on the switch. Rolling downwards is helpful, I find, because it gives you enough room to dodge the next attacks and make your approach for the target opening.
4) Once both switches are activated, you'll have to avoid three quick fist attacks. If you roll horizontally in the direction of an approaching fist, you will not make it underneath; it will anticipate your movement and crush you. The best way to dodge is vertically. If you are low enough in the room, roll upwards twice for the first two fist attacks. Aim slightly to the left; you want to wind up fairly close to the head but not in the center of the room where the big laser will be. The last of the three fist attacks doesn't really seem to pursue you far, so you shouldn't need a roll to avoid it; use this moment instead to make sure you are in a good position.
5) Quickly aim and fire your arrow into the central source of the big laser attack that has been triggered by the switches. You have a brief window here, but don't undercharge your shot. This is why it's helpful to be fairly close to the head at this moment; you don't have to charge as much for a closer shot. Like I said at the top, if I mess up this shot, I'm done for and unable to recover.
I know that this is a very, very specific plan of attack, but if you are struggling I think you will benefit from taking a screenshot of the boss and looking at it while thinking through these steps.
