any hints on the mask boss??

ok so i've beaten everything except this damn mask and the bosses up in the "magical" forest top right on the map which i think was 2. or the boss behind the second gate.
so far i haven't even tried the forest bosses but this mask is actually the first boss i'm having real problems with, i can't get behind him to shoot him in the white stuff on the back which i assume is the way to kill him. no matter where i go or how i move he's always facing me.
so if anyone got some pointers for me i'd happily accept them

That's exactly it- He's always facing you. Shoot the arrow so that it ends up between you and him, and then pull the arrow into his back.

have you done this yourself? because i tried this like 10 times yesterday before i wrote the post and it did nothing. i remember thinking maybe the arrow needs to pick up more speed before it does any damage to enemies when pulled but then gave up on the idea. so yea if thats the solution that has to be the reason i didnt get it to work

Yes the arrow needs to travel a little before it will kill when it's being pulled.

yea i just did it, took me 2 tries. i totally gave up on that way since it didn't work the previous 10 times lol, no wonder i couldn't kill him, i gave up on the only way to kill him :)

so far i'm loving the game. some of the bosses are super easy and some are really frustrating till you figure out how to reach their weak spot and then its really easy again. and what i've found to be the easiest way to kill almost all of the bosses so far is to kill them the first time they're vulnerable and showing their weak spot which tends to be within 10 seconds or so. but that might just be my opinion

@sarge thnx but when i started the game for the first time i decided not to watch any youtube videos of the game at all. since all the bosses become fairly easy when you figure out how to kill them i don't want to ruin the experience by watching how to do it. thats why i instead asked for hints here. but i should have kept trying to pull the arrow instead of giving up and trying to get behind him so yea, no more hints for me. :)
