problems with mask boss

i am having some problems with a boss, i think i am doing everything right, but i am not winning, i had some problems with others as well trying to kill them by retrieving the arrow. the arrow needs to gain more momentum. I just did that boss now, realised I have to drag the arrow back from the corner rather than the side. Hope this helps

oh... that's what you're supposed to do. he doesn't have a hurt box on his head and he cycles between four specific positions, so I just stood inside his next location and shot him point blank.
