I dont see what the problim is. Maybe it is becuse I play dark souls but it takes only 20 seconds to get there "walking" runing can split that time in half. also why are you makeing it sound as if you die instantly you should watch the boss and lern his move set and how you can beat him befor you try to randomly shot at his week spot.

Are you using the checkpoints? I didnt realize that those glowing circles were checkpoints ...i ended up respawning on an elevator like 5x doing the same boss and waiting for the elevator to go up....then go down...lol

I would agree. Death happens so quick, and the checkpoints are (relatively) far. After like 30 attempts, it adds up to an irritating degree.

This is the reason I only beat like 10 of the bosses and deleted the game. I LOVE hard games, I HATE the walking in this game, that isn't hard it is just annoying. Seriously, make the respawns at the boss doors and I and I bet a lot of others will reinstall.

I didn't even make it to 10 bosses before uninstalling, because the walking turned me off. I don't mind dying a lot either, but spending 3 seconds fighting a boss and being killed, and then 20 seconds getting back to that boss, is just ridiculous. I just don't see what the devs thought that would add to the game if there's absolutely nothing to do and no enemies to kill on the way to the bosses.

Maybe they were going for a Shadow of the Colossus thing, where the only enemies are bosses and there's a long journey in between. But it just didn't work in this style of game.

I do hope they stick in a patch with check points right at the doors. I'd try again.

yeah its really annoying, i just bought the game and MAYBE i missed the checkpoint, but most of the times i respawned on an elevator ... which went down ... then up again ... then walking to the boss again ... just make me respawn at the door, dont punish me with part of the game that i dont want to play, i will give it another chance tonight to look for those checkpoints, if that doesnt sort out i will get the game reimbursed

2023 here...just played this game. Had the same complaints. Fun but wasted too much time walking around.

After beating 6 bosses, I uninstalled the game since I got tired of having to manually walk to the boss over and over again after dying. It's just a chore.

It should've been like Super Meat Boy, where you can instantly try again.

This guy claims to have eliminated that annoyance with a little mod, which he demonstrates on the video. BUT I've sent the mod's .zip container to Virustotal and 27 engines point it out as a malware, most of them label it as a "Hacktool/CheatEngine", which I believe is a common false positive for hacks like that.
Anyway, I'd like to have a mod like that so I could enjoy this game, but the one from the video seems pretty shady considering the author even locked the youtube comments. I think I'll pass.
