they just go trough the wall no matter there is a large available path

Hello John,
if you block everything path they will break. I think the path you've made is too thin.

You can build a maze, and have your tower more seperate fore eachother (they don't need to be that close to be efficient)

Hey there, I've also had some trouble with magnetic wall in a few situations:
  1. I set up barriers to block all enemies, but the large brain boss type enemy ignored the barriers. I don't mind this mechanic but the player needs to be warned (if it's intentional).
*note I set up the magnetic towers with gaps between each tower, not on every tile like John's image.
  2. the forcefields cover ~3x3 area. Units standing within that area I assume are safe. Unfortunately when you aggro an enemy it happily moves past the forcefield (and squished some 20+ lazer eye meatbags who were defending).
There was a clear path for the enemies to follow, so again if this is intended the player needs to be warned.

My suggestions:
  • Give a notification about enemies that ignore the forcefields (magnetic barriers)
  • alter the circular forcefield graphic to show exactly which squares are blocked. the circle seems like it covers a 3x3 grid, but according to John's image, it goes slightly larger than that.
  • save the game after each wave is completed. Dying to an unknown mechanic is really frustrating and can waste hours of time.

That said I've had a lot of fun playing, you've done a really good job.
Fun to play, and amusing – cheers for all your effort.
