Hello how can i create my own map

i am professional h3 map creator and want to know how to create maps to publish them officially .. i have many many symmetryc good tournament maps for u guys... btw add me all h3 hd players if ready for some matches

but i cant safe my maps... i already copyed some warcraft 3 Maps... absolute symmetrical and balanced... players have different possibilities....and abuses are disabled

i created map and putted it in maps file... it dont work. dunno what to do if anyone can gimme an advice itd be great

did you try to to select player's colors before creating castles on the map?
Probably you have no player spawns so all towns are neutral and the map will not be shown in game.

I know, I did the same mistake when I first tried map editor in age of 9 years.

Put maps in:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Heroes of Might & Magic III - HD Edition\data\maps\EN"

The above path is for 64-bit Windows with English language for HoMM III HD.

Dann einfach die maps in der DE-Mappe reinlegen.

Sie empfehlen nur, dass dein Map Description (und z.B Schilten an der Map usw.), den du selbst im Map Editor schreibst, auf Englisch sein soll. Du brauchst deine Spracheinstellungen für Heroes nicht ändern.

English summary:
Simply put maps in the folder for your locale under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Heroes of Might & Magic III - HD Edition\data\maps\". The message about creating maps in English just means that you are recommended to make the map description and any other text you write yourself in the map editor in English.

hammer geil danke dir für die info... ich mach euch bald paar super balanced und flexible maps für rush und late game strategie spielbare maps....balanced und symmetrisch... alle von anderen strategiespielen inspiriert und übernommen... finde die heroes 3 maps kaum fair bzw flexibel... meistens einem vorgeschrieben was zu tun ist.... (also inner profi liga)

I don't want to waste time creating maps by hand. The reason HoMM 3 was popular for so long, was the random map generator. I am EXTREMELY dissappointed that it is not included. I have no reason to play the game without it....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAA I FEEEL with u !!!!! but i must admit that self created maps are necesessar for tournaments cuz they are more balanced... but ur right i miss random map most...its most stupid and shame. hope theill patch it ill pay for it for sure ! i had many exams during my studing last weeks.... trust me gimme 1 month at max and u will love my warcraft maps ... i play so long heroes and can tell u... its really a good map... u have always 3 options to choose how to strat.. and all races are useful in the map..
but definately right... i never can reach the random maps..they are genious for simple fights
