Yep..couldn't believe it myself. this is an absolute show stopper for me. Unbelieveable that they would sell this without the map generator.

Yeah I know. Unfortunately, the RMG was only added in the Armageddon's Blade expansion, and is absent from the vanilla game which the Steam version is based on. If you have the disc or GOG versions, you can technically still use its RMG to generate a vanilla-only map, and it should work with the version.

Yes, the random map generator was added in an expansion. This version has no expansion content, and thus, no random map generator.

You can import random maps made with the GOG version if you limit it to restoration of erathia assets

there is a fan made map generator standalone for the HD version, u can download it somewhere, links in this forums.

I remember not purchasing IV, or V, for this same reason. I play random maps almost exclusively..so this is a show stopper.
