Heroes of Might & Magic III ne fonctionne plus sur mon PC

Bonjour,
le jeu ne fonctionne plus sur mon PC même en le ré installant.
Quelqu'un à une solution à mon problème?

En fait quand j'appuis sur le bouton JOUER le jeu ne se lance pas , il y a le petit rond de chargement a coté de la souris pendant 5 secondes environ et après plus rien ne se passe
aucune fenêtre , rien

J'ai exactement le même problème. Même en désinstallant, rebelote. Alors qu'il marchait très bien.

vous etes sur quel systems d'explotation et version moi je suis sur win 10 puis ya rien a faire car il faut un service pack 2 xp qui nest pas dans win 7- 8-10 donc pour jouer il faut jouer avec un xp.

tout cela e3st a cause de window qui force les editeur et les concepteur a se soumettre a leur systems explotation win 10. moi je me suis rebuilter une XP pour jouer warcraft 1 et 2 starcraft 1 Heroes of Might & Magic diablo 2 civilisation command and conquer sims 2

tout ces jeux ne peux pas etre jouer avec les win 7 et plus meme en version HD

If you still have that problem after updating WIN from 8 to 10, or only after updating 10 - it is propably caused by missing dll files! For me MSVCP110.dll and MSVCR110.dll were missing.

Here is what you should do:

1. Go to the folder where you installed HOMM, for me it is:

D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Heroes of Might & Magic III - HD Edition

2. Click with right button on HOMM3 2.0.exe or HOMM3Launcher.exe

3 a1. On the top of the list you should have something like:
solve the problem with compability (or something like that, I have different language so I have to translate it) - for me it is the 4th position of the top on the list

3 a2. Click on the second position - solve the problem by yourself

3 a3. Click on the first position - program was working with the previous versions of WIN, but now you can't install or launch it

3 a4. Program was working previous with:
Click on WIN 8.

3 a5. Click on "test the program" by using WIN 8.

3 a6. Now it should be written what dll files you are exactly missing.

3 b1. If you didn't find "solve the problem with compability" on the top of the list,
you should click once again with right button and the lowest position (at the bottom) is "properties" - go there

3 b2. On the top you should see bookmarks - "general", "compability", "safety", "details", "previous versions"

Choose "compability"

3 b3. On the top of the bookmark "compability" you should see "Launch the tool to solve the problem with compability" - click on it

3 b4. Do the same as in (3 a2) - (3 a6) !!!

Now, when you know what type of dll you are missing, you should download them from the internet and copy them into 3 folders:

I. The folder where you installed the HOMM

(as previous, for me it is:
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Heroes of Might & Magic III - HD Edition)

II. System 32

(for me:
C:\Windows\System32)

III. SysWOW64

(for me:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64)

If you copy it to the System32 and it is written that there ARE those dll files, which you are missing, don't do it.
Copy those dll from System32 and put them into the HOMM folder and SysWOW64 (I had this kind of situation).

If you haven't got those dll in System32, you can easily download it from

I hope you solve the problem and now everything works just fine!
