Issues starting the game.

I've downloaded the game a total of 4 times as of this moment. Everytime, the game will run the launcher showing the regular stuff, but when I click 'Play', the launcher goes away and nothing happens. Looking deeper into the issue I went directly to the game's exe app... When I click it, it says 'the program can't start because OpenAL32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.' Is this a common issue? Can I fix it with another program? What's the dealio?

Verifying Local Data and turning off the Antivirus as suggestedt in the upmost sticky did not help.

Given the fact that this game is quite old, and they choose to remake into HD, i'd actually just be happier if they fixed the old one and made it easier for you to play online with friends instead, since this is utterly and complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. They fix a few bugs here and there, and BAM here you go. A game that cannot be launched. F*** Ubisoft really... its a pathetic way of scoring some money on a old goldie. So sad

Alright, I figured it out! The download prompt for OpenAl is just really glitchy (It worked once but just quit out on me for some reason. I suppose that the game is old, so the version of OpenAl is old as well...). But anyhow, all you have to do it go to your Steam library, right click the game, then go to it's proporties. After that, click 'local files' --> 'browse local files'. Click the file folder '_CommonRedist' --> 'OpenAL' --> '2.0.7.0' --> 'oalinst.exe'

After an installation of openal32.dll i get error: 0xc000007b. I'd love to ask for some help here.
