This is worth a negative review

No expansions. This should be one reason not two..
This has never been a secret and does not in iteself warrant a bad review.
- game is abondand by devs :
Is a solid point and confirms the early suspicions of this being a cash grab.
Easier to play multiplayer with friends on steam,
Redrawn sprites + ability to turn them off
Support for 16:9 and even 21:9 ultrawide resolutions
Are reasons to play this version.
But we all know that Heroes 3 deserves more, probably a full remake with hand drawn graphics, no 3D ♥♥♥♥. And that is the real reasons why many don't like this version. It is kind of lazy.
The game is from 1999.
Duh.
You guys nowadays only know how to cry.
This HD remake is not from 1999
Duh
It was released and perhaps given a patch or two, then abandoned, pretty much definition of a cash grab.
If Ubisoft really cared about this game there are plenty of things they could have fixed/buildt on this release. And it is again a valid point.
Even so it's a nice little game, with interesting challenges, and tech (ok spell) tree. Yes it could use some improvments but what game couldn't. the whole HD thing was silly, and yes likely served two functions (1) money grab, yes as it was unnecessary really, and (2) market interest data. Hopefully they got enough of a response (the only reason I bought the HD thing) to move forward with improvements on the game.
What do you think?
We want more, better, faster, and even better content because we love the game... is there something wrong with that?
Lol, how is that an argument? This isn't the original version, which you also can buy, for a cheaper price and then you get all the Add-Ons and once you install the HD Mod, you wonder why you ever would want to buy this version.
No, this "HD" "Remake" was thrown out as a quick cash grab by Ubicrap and despite initial "the Add-Ons will follow" promises, was instantly abandoned, with all issues.
Instead of acting like the typical ignorant, clueless, retarded millennial snowflake, ask yourself how needs this 15€ base game version, when the original plus add-ons is 9,99 (and a whole lot cheaper on sale of course)
There simply is NO reason for this crappy version to even exist.
Bob, negative review does not = low IQ... otherwise I could assume your negative comment on negative comments related to the game means you have that very same low IQ. Actually, I assume you have likely a higher than average IQ as you are a gamer. :)
Agreed, I would bet it involved a bit of market research more than pure cash grab only!
So you can say steam players really got ripped off while GOG people got the full game for cheaper.
Also there seems the company abandon support for our HD 3 HHOMM game on steam while GOG continues to support the game and promote esport entertainment.
So yea - you can see the negativity views. Steam got ripped off.
