Can't open the game

When I open the game, it appears to be lauch but only for few seconds... and nothing happens. I download all of the OpenAL and MSCR...dll for no change.

I can't lounch my game

I play Heroes3 around 3 month's and something is happened with game, he doesn't want to lauch. Start update and stop with information fail update with file launcher.exe smth like that, please help and wrote to me how to solve this problem, thx

can't open game

I have aproblem with game, he doesn't wont launch and I get message, can't update game, profblem with file launcher.exe what could be a reason and how can I solve this problem ?

I've been having this problem as well.. I can at least get to open the little menu tab for the game or for map editor. When I choose to hit play for the normal game it disappears then nothing else happens. Like i didn't click anything at all or even tried to open the game..

I have found a fix from another website. I tried it first before posting here to make sure it would fix my problem.

Here it is:

Ok Guys I have seen that some people have a problem, that they cant start the game and nothing happens. You are missing the "OpenAL32.dll" Data in the main folder. You can fix this problem by this steps:
1. Go to the Steam folder where your installed games are (Steam/SteamApps/common/Battle of Empires)
2. The the game folder should include another folder called _CommonRedist. Double click that.
3. In that folder you find the OpenAL folder double click that aswell.
4. In that you find the 2.0.7.0 folder. Go in there.
5. Now you find the oalinst.exe
7. Double click that Data and it automatically installs the missing .dll file that you need.
8. You should be able to play the game now :3

Please comment if that fixed your problem.

Are you fixing this anytime soon... to open a ticket I have to create a profile at Ubi website... which I dont want to do, it is obvious that the game is not playable for a lot of people and we paid for it!!! Please update us at least how this is supposed to be fixed....Game does not start right now

Game wont start.

So, ive had this issue since like the beginning. When I first bought the game, it worked perfectly, the nostalgia hit me like a truck and I fell in love with this game. Again. Now-a-days I cant even start it. Everytime I try, it says "Running" then it wont start and stops "loading". I can get to the options where i choose full screen and what resolution that I wanna start it up with, but thats as far as I can go.

How do I fix this?

Yes, I've re-installed. Checked game cache etc etc.
