Not getting any achievements

Not sure if I missed an announcement somewhere, but I'm not getting any achievements. Nothing I'm doing is counting.

I'm in story mode and have completed a shift, got 3 stars, talked to a co-worker, etc. and still nothing is registering. :(

Hey! Was your steam client offline by any chance? Sometimes mine goes offline and it doesn't sync with the achievements.

I'll investigate the issue though!

Thanks for replying and looking into it! My client was likely online - I logged off and played another new game I bought alongside Checkout and that game's achievements were counting.

This is a silly question but you definitely do not have any achievements unlocked in the steam client right?

Yep, when I go to achievements it says I have 0/19 unlocked. I've been getting achievements in other games fine though.

I made a small change to how achievements are set and pushed out a new update. Maybe close your steam client and restart it and then install the update.

I snuck in an achievement at the logo screen. If all is well then you should unlock it.

I too wasn't getting achievements when I first played yesterday. Got the Nessie today and some achievements. I did have to replay to get achievements I should've gotten yesterday. Thank you for pushing the update.

Yea I'm sorry I don't think I can retroactively unlock those achievements for you all. I'm glad to hear that it's working now. Thank you all for your patience :D

Is it possible that the unlock notification is not popping up? Can you check your list of achievements to confirm you have not unlocked any achievements.

They weren't. They popped when I went back on later to play the second shift. The one for completing the interview didn't though so I guess I have to start a new game for that one.

I failed a shift in story mode today and did not get the achievement for it. I have also replayed a shift in story mode with no achievement. I think they are still not working properly.

Are you able to get other achievements or is it just those specific ones that you're aren't unlocking?
