Still on TSW2020 and kind of like it. Worth to upgrade to TSW5?

You had the chance for several months for a free upgrade (without new routes, the ones you have would be transfered to TSW 5)...

If you want new routes then yes or wait until TSW 5 is on Humble Bundle. This is not the last sale...

If you buy now get the deluxe edition, or wait for a sale and or look for third-party Key retailers, just take care some will try to sell accounts.
If you never play it, don't buy it. But TSW5 has a lot of improvements and new content and works far more reliable. On sale it is not very expensive now, though you missed the opportunity for a free upgrade.
Looks like it's on sale right now. I guess it depends upon what you want. For me the minimal HUD was worth the upgrade price, even though I'm told that was available in TSW4. I like to drive with "most" of the HUD hidden so I can use the train gauges, but it's nice to have that smaller set of "hints". For this reason I purchased TSW5. I still am playing all of my previous content from back in TSW2 (some 2020). If you have the $20 available, I think it's a low risk to purchase.
Get it now while on a deal ..never pay full price for a dtg item

Unless you want to buy the latest routes it is not worth your time, the original routes in your collection will not be upgraded to enable any of the new features included in TSW 2 to 5.

If you want the WCML Preston to Carlisle then it would be worth buying what you could have got for free a month ago.

Edit: or wait for 6 in September. It could be free when it comes out
