Conductor/guard mode and free roam help
I'm having some trouble finding any guard based scenarios for being the onboard guard and not the driver for a change. Anyone know if this is available or yet to come. Also on free roam at stations, I can't see any trains arriving or leaving. Would like to be able to take a train from one station to another, so as to find the missing things and so on.

I have the west coast, great western and London Overground routes if that helps.

Thanks.

No, why should it?
Of the routes you listed, only west coast (both London Euston to MC and Preston to Carlisle) have guard (conductor) mode.

You can be just a passenger on any train (except ones that are heading out of area covered by the route). What you'll need to do is to choose the route you want, select the Timetable mode, and then 'On foot' when the list of available locomotives comes up. Pick the station and time you want and you can then get in on any train on the station or wait for one to arrive.

Oh I see thanks. I'm kinda new to this and only know how to explore on foot and drive trains.

Because it's why I got this. Driving the trains and routes is great in all, but being able to do things like being a conductor or passenger adds that extra bit of fun and realism of the railway.

I forgot to mention in my previous post, you can do guard mode by selecting the timetable for the route. The runs that have a ticket icon are ones that you are able to do guard mode on. After you choose the run, it will ask whether you want to drive the train or be the conductor.

EDIT: AFAIK, you cannot jump into guard mode while in free roam.
