You only have to switch on Banking Comm to activate the rear locos, the rest of it is already set up correctly. It is possible that save and reload changes the settings on the rear locos, but that does not explain why the train brake is so weak.
You were correct. Loco #3 is controllable from Loco #1 even with the radio off, and that should not be the case. That never worked like that in TSW2, 3, and 4. Well, I never ran this scenario in TSW4, but either way, if the radio in Loco #3 is off, it would/should not be controlled. Also, the radio in Loco #4 should have been off, and it was not. Loco #2 was off as it should have been.
I will check and see if the same issues are in TSW4, 3, and 2 because some things don't work as they should and some prompts don't advance as they should, half the time the track monitor was not showing the speed indications as they changed, I was using the speed limit HUD and next speed limit marker when I normally leave it off because the track monitor is there with the same info.
Much of what I experienced could very well be a holdover from TSW2, or some aspects were changed in TSW4 well before being transferred over to TSW5. And whoever thought this scenario was able to be completed in 2 hours must have been playing darts and where the dart landed is the time which was entered for the length.
