And if not, then I suggest you contact their support as they won't be able to fix your issue if they don't know what it is.

I say all this not to brag. Look at some of the videos I posted here on Steam. I am by far the furthest away from a white night for DTG. This is a shared computer, and many times, I need to use Google Glass or I need to do other things, like now here on Steam when the game is sitting idle on the main menu. I also use an enhanced ini file. And NO I don't like buying TSW every year, and TSW5 this time was Gifted to me, I hate it that every year a new game comes out, and every route has a few broken scenarios, like the Red light bug.
This time around the rail driver would be almost useless if it wasn't for a modder Cobraone and the program that makes the RD work normally, well mostly that is, just look at the troubleshooting thread on DTG. The mods I use all help make the game better, be it run better, look better, or sound better.
I would suggest you look at your system is it updated, are the GPU drivers are up-to-date and stable, the game has to build up the shader cache, which means running scenarios long and short the more the better. Make sure no outdated mods are installed. Make sure the system security features are not causing an issue as well as the AV and the Documents folder for TSW is not wright protected. Windows UAC, Defender/firewall your AV, and if it is AVG/Avast are one in the same and are Trash, Bitdefender FREE is better.
- Check if your computer meets the minimu system requirements.
- Make sure Windows is fully updated
- Make sure the graphics driver is fully updated
- Remove all Mods (TSW4 mods will not workon TSW5)
- Remove all added engine.ini settings
If all this is not the cause of the problems, it may be that you have a hardware issue.
Just make sure if you are using mods, all of them are tagged as TSW5 compatible, and verify your installation through Steam.
Also make sure you're not using any shader cache related ini tweaks. Most of them are unsafe.
I just recreated the unreal engine crash again today on the peninsular route.
