What would be the difference between the two after I already purchased Train Sim world 4?

The 'bargain' price on the release of TSW 5 and previous major version releases) is for a very simple reason.

How about focus on the core product instead of catering to those who collect routes like Pokeman cards.

And one has to wonder that once the initial excitement over a new route disappears, are they all replayed or left to basically collect dust. You know that we can only give attention to a limited number of routes in the time we have available for this hobby. So the physics are that some of those wonderful $30 routes will end up collecting dust.

But one common factor regardless of the routes we play is the core train simulation....

Maybe DTG could fix and improve those core features and take TSW truly to the next level and not just graphically. Add multiplayer, route joining and proper marshaling for a start.

Same old fanboy justification every time of "well they are including all these expensive routes" while the core features of the simulator lag badly.

But then again some are not into quality but quantity.

The new "graphical options" are a joke. I very much hoped we would finally get some proper upscalers - to get rid of this NASTY aliasing in this game.... ahww well. -.-

At least the "upgrade" is free for a limited time...

Well, at least the extended it's availability. Its now available until new year.
