Controller Support
I have a Trust GM-1520T and it seems that it doesn't work with it,is there a way to enable it in the game or it just doesn't support it?

Same problem for me, I use a PS controller and I have inverted analog axis. I'm struggling to find a compatible version of x360ce, none seems to work correctly.

if its a PS3/4 controller. The drivers for windows have support for Xinput.

OP needs to use x360ce as his controller is an old Dinput type from 2007 and a dual PS2/PC unit.

Nope, I own a PS2 controller with an adapter and most of games works correctly with last version of x360ce, but in this game I'm struggling with right analog stick (left one works well). I tried various settings but no luck.

My controller is a PS2/PC too and it didn't work so i tryed x360ce but it didn't work with that either. So probably sometimes i will buy 2 xbox controllers because i see most of the games work with that.

My arcade stick unrecognized. Devs need to implement dinput support. Tried with xbox gamepad, the game is unplayable, arcade stick would be better.

Hi, my Hama uRage vendetta controler works with the game just fine, however, it does not appear in settings, and i cannot play a Versus game. Do you have any idea how to fix it?

Have a Logitech 310 (very comfortable) and the game doesn't detect any buttons even though it knows whether or not I've connected it. After restarting the game a couple times (xpinput vs direct input) I found the controller working finally. Set direct input, exit game, start game again. However, you cannot map the buttons as it still thinks there's no controller connected, even though it responds to it. This is fudged up! Using Joy2Key to try and fix this.

Edit: No joy. Even using the Logitech software and joy2key to remap buttons to keyboard the game still sees the controller for what it really is and some things just don't work well. Also, tell you to use things like RT which isn't mapped to what it's telling you to use it for. This is a keyboard only game far as I can tell. That 360CE isn't very easy to figure out (old brain cheese) and selecting any of the 3 xinput.dll files doesn't change anything.

Just google for "x360ce vibmod", and use that one instead. It's supposed to be an older, obsolete branch, but I have found it to be much more compatible than the latest version. It doesn't have the GUI configuration tool, so you will have to set proper VID/PID and button assignments in the .ini file via text editor. Once it's done, it works like champ. :tbpwink:

Thanks, Pengo. I'll give it a shot if my braincells aren't too depleted. :) Which DLL version did you choose? And could you post your ini file somewhere so I don't have to do any work ( :p )? Thanks, again.

May not be the best boxing game but it's the ONLY boxing game for PC that I've found.

Sure, but do note that it's not likely to work verbatim. You will definitely need to change VID/PID, and probably button/d-pad configs too, because they differ from one controller/adapter to another. It's clearly noted in the readme file in the vibmod distribution. Anyway, here it is:

[Options] UseInitBeep=1 #use 0 to 1; default 1; beep on init Log=0 #use 0 to 1; creates a log file in folder 'x360ce logs' FakeAPI=1 #use API patching [PAD1] Index=0 #controller index in system game controllers list; 0 is first; -1 to ignore this pad Native=0 #experimental native mode, calls system xinput1_3.dll to support xinput compatible controller together with emulated VID=0x0d9d #controller VID PID=0x3013 #controller PID Left Analog X=1 #axis index; use - to invert; precede with 's' for a slider eg; s-1; 7 to disable Left Analog Y=-2 #axis index; use - to invert; precede with 's' for a slider eg; s-1; 7 to disable Right Analog X=3 #axis index; use - to invert; precede with 's' for a slider eg; s-1; 7 to disable Right Analog Y=-6 #axis index; use - to invert; precede with 's' for a slider eg; s-1; 7 to disable Left Analog X+ Button=0 #button id; 0 to disable Left Analog X- Button=0 #button id; 0 to disable Left Analog Y+ Button=0 #button id; 0 to disable Left Analog Y- Button=0 #button id; 0 to disable Right Analog X+ Button=0 #button id; 0 to disable Right Analog X- Button=0 #button id; 0 to disable Right Analog Y+ Button=0 #button id; 0 to disable Right Analog Y- Button=0 #button id; 0 to disable D-pad POV=1 #POV index; 0 to disable D-pad Up=0 #button id; 0 to disable D-pad Down=0 #button id; 0 to disable D-pad Left=0 #button id; 0 to disable D-pad Right=0 #button id; 0 to disable A=1 #button id; 0 to disable B=2 #button id; 0 to disable X=3 #button id; 0 to disable Y=4 #button id; 0 to disable Left Shoulder=5 #button id; 0 to disable Right Shoulder=7 #button id; 0 to disable Back=9 #button id; 0 to disable Start=10 #button id; 0 to disable Left Thumb=11 #button id; 0 to disable Right Thumb=12 #button id; 0 to disable TriggerDeadzone=5 #use 0 to 255; default 0; add deadzone to trigger Left Trigger=6 #button id; precede with 'a' for an axis; 's' for a slider; 'x' for a half range axis; 'h' for half slider; use '-' to invert ie. x-2; Right Trigger=8 #button id; precede with 'a' for an axis; 's' for a slider; 'x' for a half range axis; 'h' for half slider; use '-' to invert ie. x-2; UseForceFeedback=1 #use 0 to 1; default 0 SwapMotor=0 #use 0 to 1; default 0 ForcePercent=100 #use 0 to 100; default 100 ControllerType=1 #GAMEPAD 1; WHEEL 2; STICK 3; FLIGHT_SICK 4; DANCE_PAD 5; GUITAR 6; DRUM_KIT 8; //WILDS AxisToDPad=0 #Use Axis to control DPad (0 disabled, 1 enabled) //WILDS AxisToDPadDeadZone=256 #Dead zone for Axis //WILDS AxisToDPadOffset=0 # //WILDS POVXReverse=0 #Reverse POV Up/Down POVYReverse=0 #Reverse POV Left/Right

As for the .dll version, "xinput1_3.dll" will do for RB. I reckon it has worked with 7-80% of things I've tried; the compatibility is quite remarkable.

Yeah, I agree. It's quite enjoyable as long as you don't take it too seriously. I certainly am getting my money's worth. :tbphappy:

All I had to change was the VID and PID (all 4 instances as I didn't know which section applied to what) and and left the rest untouched, so I didn't have to copy anything from you .ini file as it turns out. I put the xinput1_3.dll file in the win32 folder and it works. I can even remap the button binding in the gamepad option. Thanks a lot. Finally have a boxing game that I can play with great resolution on a PC (Xbox 360 on my 52" TV did NOT look good).

Glad to hear it worked, and yeah, button remap ability is quite a nice bonus. The PAD2-4 sections are redundant, because they are disabled by the "Index=-1" entry at the start anyway; no harm done. Now stand up and fight! :tbpwink:

Figured out that if you have ANY other controller (t-16000M in my case) the game will not be able to interact with your gamepad (mine is a Kinobo). Typical of Unreal engine games from what I hear.
