Report a translation problem
The monsters will destroy the phones after a while but they may be too far away to notice them or need a while to get there. Once you put a fuse into the one in the upper engine rooms they will come to destroy the other phones if called.
Each number corresponds to a different room in the engine rooms.
Regarding deck 1&2: Rooms may spawn there but not as many as on 3 and 4. Sometimes there may be only 1-5 rooms or none at all. Usually there are some though, often behind some corridors.
Thank you! I think I've finally gotten the hang of it, although I had to keep luring the hunter into the engine room with the radio. He wouldn't come in by himself, I had to guide him down.. not sure if that was a bug.
