There’s a really good mod for Monstrum called the Monstrum Extended Settings Mod. It allows you to customize parts of the game that the vanilla game doesn’t let you customize. Such as: Giving yourself extra lives, being able to select which monster you want to play against, playing against 2 or 3 monsters at the same time (if you want a real challenge), disabling the cameras, disabling the steam pipes, a debug mode, and other useful settings. If you like Monstrum, I definitely recommend getting this mod. It’s great. And don’t worry, you can still play the game in its normal vanilla state if you want to. The mod doesn’t conflict with the vanilla game.

Thank you so much, i'm using it to "decrease" the movement speed of the player, which was too high as it has also no stamina management (When you've playing it too much and it's getting too easy) and now it's really scary!!! I decreased it just a bit. And it works very well!

EDIT: i put the "Darkship" , "Powerable Lights" and "No Pre-filled Fuse Boxes" mods in addition, and now, this is a REAL challenge! (The raft route is now hard as others!)

I have the feeling to play the game in "Hard mode" and it deserves such difficulty

2.0 or 1.2?

Using the latest version is usually recommended. Right now it's version 2.0. Or according to the .zip file download, it's version 2.0.2. Version 2.0 added a lot of new settings and bug fixes since version 1.2. Version 1.2 was a standalone mod. Starting with version 2.0, they decided to change it from being a standalone mod to a mod that requires the Partiality Launcher program. I had never heard of Partiality modding or the Partiality Launcher program. Thankfully the developers of the Monstrum Extended Settings Mod explain very clearly in their included Readme file, in a step by step way, how to download and use the Partiality Launcher program and how to install the mod properly. It's fairly simple
