So im getting the crap beat outta me :(

Hey.
Im new to the game and am having trouble progressing.
My group is all level 5
and I have cleared the rat cave, the sporia fields, beach etc.
I have not cleared a similiar area of mushrooms (Says they are at very difficult) or been able to pass the Ogre blocking the road to the north west (Titanic).
I feel like im missing an area but have searched all around.
I would not mind fighting the mushrooms but the one who spits poisen on the entire group either completely destroys me or I survive by using insane amounts of consumables.

So am I missing an area?
How do I deal with the group poisen besides antidote?

My group is Explorer, thief, Soldier, Barbarian, Cleric, Demonologist.

I am reallly hoping this isn't going to come down to....You picked the wrong setup start over.

Any tips would be appreciated...Thanks!

DEMONOLOGIST? I assume you mean Divine Summoner. Your party is fine, though Divine Summoner is the trickiest class in the game to learn.

But yeah, I have good news- you have missed an area! That field of very difficult mushrooms? It's quite possible to get past them by paying careful attention to their circles. It's a long and winding path but you can get there, and you'll end up behind the ogre. And yeah, killing guards is another route to take. Hopefully that helps!

You know you can bypass the Ogre through the Sporia field? That opens up a new area to the North. Or if you feel strong enough you can tackle the soldiers and go West to Nabros (mind there are squads of soldiers on the road which aren't meant to be fought. Again there is a way to bypass them.)

Right-click and hold on the mushrooms; you'll see the engangement circle around them. Carefully move through the mushroom field to move to yet another area.

And no, you can't save in the mushroom field. ;)

Thanks I had no idea I could bypass the mushrooms. I killed the guards and I took a trip to Nabros. I found I can handle most everything in the woods around there which helped me gain another level. Ill try the mushroom route now and see what happens.
And I was mistaken I did mean to say Divine summoner haha.
