What do Gem Skills buff?
I'm very new to this series, but I'm enjoying this game immensely. I just had a quick question regarding the skills that buff gems.
Lets say I have the 'Poison' skill leveled until it increases the 'Gem component power' by 100%.
Does this increase the gem's raw damage by 100%, the poison special effect by 100%, or both?
Additionally, does this increase the raw damage of a mixed gem with a poison component in it by 100%? Or by the ratio of the gem's? E.g. a dual gem would get a 50% boost, a triple gem a 33% boost, etc.
Thanks in advance for any help you could offer.

The gems skills increase the special power of the according gem. To stay at your example, raising the posion skill will result in a raise of the "poison damage" a green gem does (when you are new to this series, poison ignores armor! At low level very useful)
There are some other ways to increase the gems raw damage: True color and resonance skills increase the damage, when you meet the *bound gems, (white and black) you will see that these gems, especially when used with orange or yellow (and a part of red) will result in powerful fighting machines... :)
