How do I change the difficulty?
All of my levels so far are on looming difficulty. I don't seem to have an option to try harder difficulties. What gives?

Ok thanks. I just haven't advanced far enough then obviously. And I don't recall the flash verison working like this.

It worked exactly like this: you unlock difficulties from wizard towers.

Oh! I forgot all about the wizard towers. I have only just got to the first one in this game.

Forgive me, its been 5 or 6 years since I played, and never did play this one. I played the original.

The original didn't have wizard towers like these. This is a new feature of Gemcraft 2 Chasing Shadows.

The game series has changed quite a lot after the first game.

how far in the game do you have to advance? I've unlocked 12 maps, and destroyed the wizard towers in 10 of them and still can't choose any difficulty setting other than "Looming"

Play with maxed traits for now.

(SPOILER)

you Kan get higher difficulTies by beating the wizard tower fields in the game. (strange capitalization? misspelt word?)
