I have to admit, Devs make it hard to cheat.

First of all let me state this here and now. I don't cheat the first time through. I enjoy the game fully to the very end, with only skill and time to show me the way. It's when I replay a game that I like to cheat at it. Giving it a little "what fore" for all the hazard it put me through.

That being said, you made a very difficult game to cheat at this game. Trying my hand at cheat engine didn't seem to work as the values just change back, even when I get them locked. Not sure how you did it, but bravo that's some good defense. Here I thought I'd have the most trouble cheating on a game coded in Python. Heck I just consider it another challenge of the game.

2.) It's stored as AOB meaning hard search to find
3.) I have cheated before just to check if it was possible.
If you couldn't do it with cheat engine, you probably don't know how to fully use it.

well Hello Necro post. ^^ Since that time I've learn subtle ways of cheating in this game. It is fun to try and see what you can do on cheat engine, it is like a whole nother challenge.

There is nothing wrong with cheating in single player games, especially on second playthroughs. It is only cheating in multiplayer that is horrible.

I don't pay attention to post dates, if something was unanswered I answer it if I can. As for how I stumbled across it, not sure fully I just clicked a random page in the forums and saw this post. Thirdly I am a thread necromancer :P.
As for cheating in SP games, yeah whoever cheats first time around have no right to call a game crap, they ruined the experience for themselves. Sometimes the best aspect of a game is the journey and difficulty.

Yes, if they ruin the experience themselves, then that is what they do. But no they don't have a right to call it bad. If anything I was originally giving praise to their ability to code. The first time I played this game, I did it without cheats, and got every single achievment, and enjoyed myself greatly. But what is there to do after that? The game would have little replay value after to me. So I went back and cheated at the game, and you know what? I had fun once again. This doubled my enjoyment of the game, and didn't harm another soul.

Cheating in a SP game sure doesn't hurt anybody (as long as you aren't obnoxious about it).

Just please don't discuss explicit cheating methods on this forum, there are better suited places for that.
