Challenge: Achievements in Iron Wizard

So I made the challenge to myself to gain as many achievements as possible in the Iron Wizard mode. Actually it's pretty fun because you need to think quite creative there.


So far I have reached close to the maximum I think with 357 Achievements[oi58.tinypic.com]. Of course beforehand I finished all 191 fields on Iron Wizard.



Here are the achievements, which might still be possible to do for me: (5)


- Have 295 monsters on the battlefield on F1. (1)
---> The problem here is that either the monsters spawn to slowly and you die before they are all on the field while you lack the manapool to maze and yet have enough mana left to build a strong enough killgem. Freeze slows down too shortly as well.


- Lockpick M5 (1)
---> This one made me almost cry. You need to spend 34 points in freeze or else you just dont have freeze fast enough. That results though in having not enough points in your other skills and/or not having enough basemana. I always end up with 5-20 left hits on each of the 3 lockpicks, if I do it almost perfectly.
The only thing I might still try is using a White-Red-Orange Gem instead of a White-Red-Yellow. But that might lack the killpower.

- Multikill & Shoot Down 340 Shadow Projectiles (2)
---> Just that I need a field where a Shadow spawns.


- Don't Build anything H1 (1)
---> Seems to be impossible even if I put enough skillpoints in Ignition, Demolition, Fusion & Mana Stream, it seems one just lacks the manapool/income to get it done.



Not doable: 56

- Due to the missing traits / glaring difficulty / lack of waves the following fields achievements don't work: A4, B1, C2, C3, E1, E2, E3, F1, F3, G6, H4, I2, J1, K6, L5, M3, N7, O2, Q1, T3 (20)

- Activate a battle trait, Set a battle Trait to level 7 or higher, have 20 additional waves due to battle traits, have 40 additional waves due to battle traits, Have 60 additional waves due to battle traits, Set Corrupted Banishment to Level and banish a monster 3 times (6)

- The 8 related Talisman achievements (8)

- The 4 "Have/Find Shadow Cares" Achievements (4)

- The 8 "You've reached level x" Achievements (8)

- Wisdom Shrines as you have removed them from Iron Wizard (3)

- Gain 600 xp from drops (1)

- The "play on Glaring"- and "play on Haunting"-difficulty Achievements (2)

- Have a maximum charge of 300% for Freeze / Barrage (2)

- "Set the Orblet to trait 7 and don't have Orblets left on the field in the end" (1)

- "Kill 7 Shadows" is impossible without the chasing shadows trait as you don't get 7 Shadows to spawn. (1)



Maybe someone can tell me where I can find a Shadow in Iron Wizard to attempt the 2 Shadow-Related ones. For the other 3 you might have different strategies than I do.

I did the H1 achievement on Iron Wizard. Use poolbound gems as gem bombs; they deal higher damage thanks to the poolbound multiplier.

For Shadows go for K4. I think it spawns at least 1 shadow there but I'm not sure about that.

One of the V fields always spawns a shadow, can you get it there?

That field is V4. V5 also has Shadows. Under Pressure might be possible to get but lack of Apparitions means no Multikill.
