Bloodbound VS Poolbound
I just got bloodbound gems and I wonder if there is a good way to gauge which is better to use?
I routinely hit higher manapool lvls compared to hitlvls for my manafarm gems. This is even worse for my killgems. (Though I haven't exactly tried to get high hit numbers on those)

Does the bloodbound gems give a larger multiplier per level compared to manabound gems?
Is there a generel consensus at what wave lvl it is worth switching over to bloodbound?
Is there a resource somewhere that shows multiplier lvls and the bonus for each lvl so I could look it up myself?

pre-35g - poolbound, bloodbound in any other case.

Do you have to farm hits with your killgem before g35 for that to be true?
(I assume a yes here)

It's not that hard to farm hits, for managem at least.

Use poolbound for better immediate results. You can use it to easily get through most of the unlocks/haunting stages.

Bloodbound is best for long endurance runs.

I'm running non endurance maps with all bells and whistles at the moment giving me about g50-g55 gems or so and around 200 waves so my question is mostly if it's worth switching during those conditions.

I'd suggest not to switch - just use BB from the beginning. So you don't have to use skillpoints on both gems and you get most hits on the gem

Sounds fair. I'm mostly contemplating if it is worth running black gems around 2-300 waves or stick with white gems. (And respec the skillpoints as appropriate)

If you think you'll be going much past g35 (which you said you are) probably best to stick with BB.

Ok thanks guys, I'll do that.

I actually find that until around Endurance mode levels 400ish the PoolBound gives me more bang for my buck. My mana pool at those levels usually heads up to level 55ish. If I intend to go past 400ish wave/level though then I start with a single bloodbound gem early on in a nest of amps just to boost its hit count .... I generally dont bother though because after waves 400ish I find that my computer starts to bog down as I get 20k+ monsters on screen at one time as they start to lap around and run over my manatraps again being farmed.

It is not a question of wave or mana pool level, it is just a question of gem grade. If you get past g35, use bloodbound.
Everything else can be done, you are free to do what you like - but why should someone try to swim with bound legs?

The only thing better than your puns are your GemCraft guides! :P

That's not a pun, it's more like an idiom?

To clarify:
No pun intended,
Just a (bad?) comparison.
