V21 help?
Hey,

I am currenty stuck at V21...

I've done some searches before, tried some suggestions, and managed to get one good attempt (last guardian down to ~ 2000 HP before he reached the Orb), but it somehow is not working.

Even tweaking the strategy a bit did not help, the results were rather worse.

I tried it with this G3 3r1y combine, but maybe I'm doing something wrong?

This combination gets me a G3 yellow-red with 65-67 damage..

Not sure how to proceed from there, I tried it with "U" upgrades, or always combined gems and created new ones, etc.

Maybe the guides are referring to some older version?

Dunno, some advice please.. :bbtcat:

I guess, you have read http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=439724000
The only advice I can give you is to make sure you follow the guide as exactly as possible - I tried it several times myself.
I'm not sure what you mean with "always combined gems": 3r1y is meant as a recipe, u upgrde the g3 twice, combine with a red g5, when both gems are g6, combine them for a g7 and rebuild the 7r1y gem...

Yes, that's where I checked first, actually..

If the guide is good then I've must done something wrong, apparently.
Just to be sure, G3 3r1y is created only by combining, not upgrading?

Because when you do this:
Combine r, into r, into r, and then y, you will get a G2 gem.
But when you combine r and r, plus combine r and y, and then combine both resulting G2 gems, you will get a G3 gem..

Or did I get the recipe wrong? Is there just one and only right way, that is the combination steps must be performed in the correct order.

And when you put that G3 into the tower, you upgrade with U until G5?
And then combine that with a red G5 created directly in the inventory?

And what does rebuild the 7r1y mean? I have to build exactly this in the inventory, i.e. 8 G1 in total?

For vision fields you don't need any non-standard combines. So You want to start with a g3 gem.
Rebuild means: build 7 red g1 gems and one yellow g1 gem and combine them in one g4.

Even if some of the vision fields are complicated in strategy, the combine methods are just simple.

Don't forget to use TWO gems, upgrade them one by one:
left|right 3|- 3|3 4|3 4|4 5|4 5|5 6|5 -|7 4|7 5|7 6|7 7|7 ... -|8

For this field it is necessary to use the blue gems to slow them down and the purple gems to take away their armor, this is specifically after defeating the 26 waves of monsters.

Well, maybe there are 2 ways (or more) to do this, apparently.

You mean to use the blue ones right from the start? Pure blue?

not from the start, blue gems to slow gaurdians

Okay, I tried it again, and it worked, yay.

Just two towers, and the red-yellow combination from the guide. Worked like a charm, only from the last wave (reapers) some made it to the orb. For the guardians I used my mana for the Purple G6, and all the additional mana for some towers with lower grade blue gems.
Then moved the gems with the guardians a bit, et voila :)

Thank you for your advice!
